Ms. Hart joined Morgan Melhuish Abrutyn in July 2006 where her practice focuses on litigation before the New Jersey Division of Worker’s Compensation.

Ms. Hart has significant experience in all facets of the litigation process. Ms. Hart began her legal career with a staff counsel office of the Travelers Insurance Company where she handled negligence cases venued in the Bronx, New York. Prior to joining Morgan Melhuish Abrutyn, Ms. Hart was with a defense litigation firm where she represented clients in cases involving worker’s compensation, premises liability, Title 59, professional malpractice, and claims against charitable organizations. Ms. Hart has tried cases through verdict in the Superior Court as well as before the Division of Worker’s Compensation. She has prepared briefs and argued before the Appellate Division and successfully opposed a Petition for Certification before the New Jersey Supreme Court in the matter Ferraro v. Pepsi Cola, Inc. (September Term 2010, Docket 067113; decided February 3, 2011). Ms. Hart has appeared in Federal Court as well as in many New Jersey Municipal courts.

In 2010, Ms. Hart was appointed by the Supreme Court of New Jersey to the District IIA (North Bergen County) Ethics Committee for the 2010 – 2014 terms. Ms. Hart is active in Women Lawyers in Bergen and is currently President of the organization after having served on the Executive Board for many years.
