Mr. Melhuish has been active in the defense of a wide range of civil litigation. In addition to general civil litigation cases, cases defended by Mr. Melhuish have been product liability, commercial, consumer fraud, legal malpractice, medical malpractice, wrongful discharge, employment discrimination, sexual harassment, tortious interference with economic relationship, mold contamination and defamation cases. His cases have usually involved complex and novel legal, factual and technical issues. A substantial part of his practice has been devoted to defense of employment related cases.

Mr. Melhuish received his B.A. from Upsala College and LL.B. from the University of Virginia. He was admitted to practice in New Jersey as an Attorney at Law in 1955 and as a Counselor at Law in 1957. He is admitted in the United States District Court, District of New Jersey, the United States Court of Appeals, Third Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the American, New Jersey and Essex County Bar Associates and the Virginia State Bar Association. Mr. Melhuish is a Certified Civil Trial Attorney in New Jersey.
