Eric Polishook

Mr.
Polishook is a 2001 graduate of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (Yeshiva University)
in Manhattan, New York. At Cardozo, Mr. Polishook focused on his litigation studies,
participating in the Intensive Trial Advocacy Program through NITA, conducted by Professor
Barry Scheck, as well as completing a course in Appellate Advocacy. He completed his
undergraduate studies at Tufts Univeristy in Medford, Massachusetts, outside of Boston where
he was born and raised, and received a B.A. in Politcal Science in 1998. During his time at
Tufts, Mr. Polishook completed a semester studying abroad at London's City University.
Mr. Polishook started his professional career at Newman Fitch Altheim Myers in downtown
Manhattan on Wall Street, where he focused on the representation of commercial construction
managers first in New York and then in New Jersey, and their defense in Labor Law/Tort and
Breach of Contract cases. He has been at Morgan Melhuish Abrutyn for almost 2 years, and
his practice has expanded to also include general insurance defense, insurance coverage and
commercial litigation. He maintains a New York practice but has also expanded upon his
New Jersey practice. Mr. Polishook recently obtained a defense verdict in his first solo,
civil trial in a property damage case (tort, breach of contract) involving a residential
cooperative apartment in Manhattan
