Jeff has been a leading residential real estate attorney in New Jersey for more than 39 years. He has also represented various mortgage lenders and title insurance companies in the area with their transactional needs.
Jeff estimates the value of the transactions he has handled to be in the billions of dollars. His experience and expertise in this area has led the largest local Realtor® Board, the North Central Jersey Association of Realtors® (with 9,500 members in five counties), to retain him as its General Counsel for the past 18 years. He is also a popular New Jersey-licensed continuing education instructor for the North Central Jersey School of Business where he regularly teaches courses related to legal issues to real estate salespersons. He is frequently a featured or contributing speaker at events and seminars for both consumers and members of the professional real estate community, has been published in the North Jersey “Broker/Agent” Magazine and has been quoted in the New Jersey Law Journal relating to residential real estate law and practice.
Jeff was Mayor of Livingston in 1990 and 1994 and on its Township Council from 1988-1996. He served on many other Boards and Committees in Livingston including the Planning Board, Environmental Commission, Library Board of Trustees, Health Advisory Committee, and the Livingston Municipal Alliance. He was inducted into the Livingston High School Hall of Fame by the Livingston Education Foundation in 2012.
In addition, Jeff served on the Board of Directors of the North Jersey Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and was awarded its Crystal Ball “Humanitarian” award in 1999. In 2000 he co-founded the Foundation for Diabetes Research headquartered in Livingston.
