Leonard C. Leicht Presents Seminar at TLC 40th Annual Meeting

The Transportation and Logistics Council (TLC) selected Leonard C. Leicht as one of the presenters for its 40th Annual Meeting in Nashville, Tennessee. On March 18, 2014, Len provided a presentation outlining the Pilot Flying J Rebate Scheme and which focused on enabling transportation and logistics companies to detect fraud and better monitor vendor contracts to enable them to avoid becoming “victims” in the future. The seminar was extremely well attended and Len thanks everyone at TLC for making him feel so welcome.

MMA Obtains No Cause on Behalf of State of New Jersey in CEPA/LAD Case

After two months of trial, Leonard C. Leicht and Jeffrey S. Leonard obtained a no cause of action verdict on behalf of the State of New Jersey. At the close of Plaintiff’s case, the Trial Court dismissed all claims allegedly racial discrimination under the LAD, as Plaintiff did not set forth a prima facie case. After closings, the jury rejected Plaintiff’s claim that the State of New Jersey retaliated against him for disclosures allegedly protected by CEPA.
